The guy in the meat dept. was super nice. All the staff was very friendly!
My husband and I have always loved shopping at Kroger. We had one just a few blocks away but they closed that one down. But they always have freshest fruits and vegetables. The meat dept is always clean and never had any bad service from anyone from Kroger. My only complaint is that that closed down the closest one to out house
Visiting from Canada, went to buy beer, and showed them my Drivers license, the employee and the manager, were both very ignorant. They asked me for my American ID. I told them I'm canadian and your looking at my government I'd. The employee stated he was on his second strike for selling to minors.... Obviously he is irresponsible. Anyhow we were discriminated for being non Americans and were not sold beer. Even though official government I'd was shown.... Not a reflexion of Texans by any means, all I've met are friendly. These two are just plain ignorant folk.
Average grocery store. The only meat I but here is the Boar's Head deli meat, the rest has too much brine in it, by the time you cook it, it shrinks down to nothing. You, also, need to be careful and make sure the meat isn't previously frozen.
I have at least 5 local choices for my grocery shopping, but this Kroger store is the overall best for both price and selection. My favorite departments are the meat and (full) deli. The staff are always cheerful and attentive. I always leave this store happy that I came.
Their salads don't stay fresh very long, in fact anything perishable you but here, make sure to eat in a couple days.
