Go to Home Depot everyone :/. Hopefully they are better...
Terrible customer service! Ordered online and was not at the store and associates couldn’t even find it at the store even though I had an order number, paid for it, and did store pick up!
Don't expect much assistance from employees, at least not when it's close to closing time. Not limited to, but especially the garden area. After specifically asking for help, I was told to look in one location, then another. The female employee couldn't be bothered to help me. The male employees that saw me walking up and down the isle, didn't attempt to help, either. I finally found what I needed, no thanks to these workers. Looks like Home Depot will be getting more of my business in Flower Mound.
Some of the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful, like Karen in Blinds and Shutters. The phone operator is erratic and will accidentally transfer you to the wrong department or disconnect you completely. This is a better place for home decor than Home Depot (further south on FM 2499), but if you want a tool just go to Home Depot first.
There is a huge disconnect between pro services and online orders. When you place an order online, even thought its ONE order, some of the order goes to the store, some of it stays online. You may get an email that details the entire order. When you call the store to check on delivery, they have no idea where half your order goes. I don't know if this is a broken ordering system or lack of training or the inability of the employees to learn or all of the above. Come on folks, this is not a mom and pop shop. I was expecting a more professional environment.
The manager and assistant manager are great and helped me when our less than 3 year old LG refrigerator that we had purchased a Lowes Extended Warranty died. Unfortunately, Lowes is asking them to sell products that do not have enough service providers (there are only 2 LG Certified served providers in the Dallas area) and asking them to sell the Lowes Protection Plan which is awful. I have never received the run around more than having to deal with them. So, buyer beware - do not buy LG Fridges and do not buy Lowes Protection Plans, unless you want a big headache! Thankfully the manager and assistant manager at Lowes Flower Mound helped me resolve the issues and actually cared.
