They are always very friendly when we go in to get solicitor permits. Thanks for keeping us safe and all your service!
So this morning at approximately 8:30am, Officer D. Walters pulls me over on Morriss Road for of all things, for supposedly "canceled vehicle tags from way back in 2015". Really dumbarse!! Then why would the Denton County Tax Appraiser's Office send me renewals in the mail on a timely manner to renew for 2016 and then consequently for 2017 as well if this were the case? He asks for my License and Insurance to run through the system only to come back realizing there was a snafu in the DMV System. Uh No!! The DMV would have their sheyat together more so than the douche bags at FMPD. This entire pullover incident wasted a good 20-30 minutes of my day that I really didn't have to spend as I have many other things lined up on my plate since my house move from this past weekend. What caught my attention during this whole incident was when after I told him this is a fake charge so please stop harassing me and let me on my way, his reply was, "Well, how do I know you're not committing a crime here?" I was taken a back especially being of Indian decent, which in current logistical atmosphere, qualifies as a person of a colored racial background and we all know where that would have gone if he actually tried to make an arrest on such a false snafu based circumstance.
In the end, this Officer is damn lucky he didn't issue me a Citation because my next step would have been to publicize it to the Local News Channels as "Racial Profiling". As much as I'd like to support our Blue, there are people who are just plain incapable of fulfilling their due diligence in their duties. Flower Mound PD, if you're reading this, Fire this Officer on the spot and be sure to hire responsible and capable replacements who actually care about the job they're doing. Just because your town might be one of the least crime stricken towns in the North Texas area doesn't provide you with a Carte Blanche to go out hunting for false snafu based circumstances to try and clean up the streets. Learn to identify a Working Class Citizen from a perspective Drug Dealer or Criminal for beginners, that'd be a prime place to start! And No I will not remove or edit this review as it is a true indication of what your department's true colors really are!
They made our Christmas wonderful this tear not only for our son but for our pets as well.... Thank you very much...
They have always responded to my concerns about safety on the trails of Flower Mound!
Sincerely,
The Owen family
An officer pulled me over yesterday aggressively saying I had a tail light out. I check the car after he leaves and the light is fine, I even take my car to auto zone and the guys say my lights are fine. So are flowermound cops just so bored that they have to make things up? Or are they hiring people that can't do there job?
