Decided to try this place after driving by it a few times and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful and attentive and the food was delicious. I got the burger and my girlfriend got the cheese board. The burger is a new fav on my list, the meat was full of flavor and cooked just like I wanted it. Cheese board was fun and had a good variety. Came with toasted bread which seemed fresh. I also got a Bloody Mary which was okay, I should have done the mimosas. The cook/owner came out to say hello after we ate and was very nice. Chatted about where the food came from. Clean environment. We will come back.
Not to be missed is the Chocolate-Caramel with hazelnut dessert or the French Vanilla Creme Brulee.
I agree with a few of the previous reviews. Cook sums it up. Quality is poor, places of the restaurant and bathrooms are disgusting, cooks(OWNER INCLUDED) have horrible hygiene!!! You would think for the cost and image they are attempting to project Chris Flahaven could wash his hands after putting them I his nose, on his face, in his hair. We witnessed this as we were having dinner! My party and I feel he was not accommodating in aggreance with a previous review. I also highly doubt all is "local" or "fresh." Good luck in the future. Buzz talk is they'll be closed in a year.
The atmosphere is cozy without being claustrophobic with trendy, upscale decor, fast service and personable staff. A full bar and a nice selection of wine by the glass or bottle are a nice way to start your evening.
Most will recognize the core food items on the menu however the chef staff combines unique elements to each dish that result in a wonderful eating experience. Adding to the satisfying taste adventure is the excellent visual presentation of your meal --- the arrangement of baby carrots, Yukon potatoes, water cress with the Rosemary Brined Honey Glazed Chicken was as pleasing to the eye as to my taste buds.
Great upscale food in a more casual setting. It's a bit on the pricey side with a very limited menu but the food is awesome and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wow! Excellent food and very attentive service. I had a pork dish and my Husband had the scallops. Both were so good! Great drinks too. I found the atmosphere to be quite inviting. Well worth the trip from Plano!
